Titans Ready To Rule In WAWFL Grand Final

Friday, August 11, 2017 - 2:46 PM

It’s that time of year again for the WAWFL where the two best teams will collide in the biggest game of the season, the Grand Final. All the action will be taking place on Sunday August 20th at Leederville Oval. Subiaco Districts own Coastal Titans have booked themselves a ticket in the big match already with their reserves team looking to make the big game with a victory in this weekend’s preliminary final against East Fremantle at Blue Steel Oval.

The Titans are celebrating their 15 year anniversary, and what better way is there to do that than winning both the reserves and League premierships on their home turf at Leederville Oval. With a ton of action also happening around the ground with the kids zone as well as the showcase half time little league games featuring talent from the Subiaco District clubs female football teams.

The Swans are favourite to meet the Titans in the grand final. The season saw both teams getting the upper hand on each other with the Titans beating the Swans in the qualifying final last week. There is no doubt the swans will be looking to amend that defeat by beating there rivals in the final and going back to back premiers. The Titans however are looking way to driven to right the wrongs of last season where they exited finals in straight sets after what was an impressive home and away season. With securing their place in the big game, there is no doubt the mighty Titans will be looking to cap off this year as premiers.

Be sure to get down and support our Mighty Titans in their big game. You will definitely get your fill of Female Footy with the Rodgers Cup final at 10.00am, followed by the Reserves final at 12.00pm. The league game will bouncedown at 2.30pm followed by presentations to finish off an exciting day of footy.
